The Sun moves into Pisces marking the transition between winter and spring. In the sign of watery Pisces, we prepare for new beginnings by clearing, reflecting, dreaming new possibilities for ourselves. We begin March with a strong Mercury Jupiter opposition, culminating in the full moon in Virgo, on the 6th. This is a month of discussion, communication, media activity, and debate over ideas and values. Venus enters Taurus, joining Mars in Taurus, on the 5th, giving us a persevering, unrelenting movement toward goals or at lower levels, determination to stay in comfort zones both physically and materially. Beauty and harmony can be more fully appreciated at this time as well as utilized for overcoming conflicts. Mar 12 can reveal hidden situations.
Those born in the middle of the earth signs may feel more enjoyment and appreciation of life with Venus and Jupiter aligning. Spring equinox takes place late on the 19th, right before the new moon in Aries, on Saturday on the 20th. This Spring Equinox repeats the theme of completing, letting go of the old, and transformation, digging deep for the truth, in preparation for new collective structures and forms coming into our culture. It calls for the difficult blending of the mundane and the spiritual, to ground greater realities that are possible for us. Saturday’s new moon gives us a burst of energy to accomplish, begin and inspire, definitely freeing us to greater activity and interaction with others, with Mars entering Gemini.
Super Tuesday (California election day) highlights tremendous discussion. With Mercury exactly conjoining the Sun. the Trickster God will be active. Something unexpected will unfold. There is a potent struggle between the cautious and those who are willing to risk innovative change.
The last week in March brings us challenges to confront situations head on and to be flexible enough to hear the deep change being called for within ourselves.

Aries: This month is very important for you. Clear as much as you can around the old; physically, mentally and emotionally. As spring comes your intentions for movement propel you, especially after Mars goes into Gemini. Stay focused. Inspiration and inner guidance are your greatest assets now. You meet an important teacher.
Taurus: With Venus entering Taurus, you feel a softening influence. Though there is much focus on groups and friends, at the new moon take the time to retreat into the richness of your inner world. There is tremendous creativity available to you now. Don’t delay the expression of that love and beauty. Create your world.
Gemini: This month you are particularly in tune with your mental clarity, agility, creativity. Your ideas are overflowing and helpful to others. You are at the beginning of something new with the potential for great success. Exercise caution and listen along the way.
Cancer: This full moon is an especially enjoyable. Take advantage of its inspirational qualities. In contrast to this ease, Saturn calls you to witness and detach from any self-criticism. Listen to the wisdom of Saturn, clean out emotional patterns of judgment that no longer serve. Let go and allow transition this month.
Leo: You are making important changes this month. You understand something now that you didn’t before and it is an important piece for you. You are letting go of past views that limited you. At the new moon set a time for meditation. You receive new insights and direction. Stay with the insights before quick movement.
Virgo: There is a real need for freedom and liberation for you now. How can you bring this in your life when the earthy Virgo so loves the habitual and molds itself to routine in comfort and security? Move in new directions. Go on a vision quest. Your life yearns for a rebirth.
Libra: You are working with a polarity this month, trying to find the middle ground. You are working with what you want and feel you need in the context of what others want and are willing to give. Let your mind be clear and be open to possibilities for fulfillment manifesting in different ways.
Scorpio: This may be a romantic time, certainly a creative time, where your heart is opening to others and to the group. You are balancing the strong drives of yourself with the strong needs of the outer world. Take time to align yourself at the new moon. There is a clear path for you ahead. Perseverance furthers.
Sagittarius: This month you continue your balancing of your inner and home life with your involvement with new opportunities for expansion, learning, and teaching in the outer world. Situations that you have sought to transform now settle into a more fulfilling pattern. Stay fluid.
Capricorn: You feel very creative month. With Venus and Jupiter in the earth signs you feel more enjoyment with people. This is a very productive time for you. At the new moon reflect on where you are going. You see a larger plan for yourself now.
Aquarius: This month you reevaluate your talents and values. You look at what truly brings peace of mind and a deep sense of security for you. Perhaps you will need to review your financial situation in this consideration. As you let go you will receive from others.
Pisces: This is a time of continuing change for you. The world is opening to you. People show their appreciation. You are on the verge of establishing a new sense of yourself. You are recognizing yourself in new ways.
