With the Sun in fiery Aries, and Mars in busy Gemini, this month will prove to be active with much communication. The energy of confrontation is present. On April 5 the new moon in Libra takes place. Venus enters Gemini on April 2, revealing that our path is to become conscious of harmonizing differences. The challenge is that the air of Gemini can fan the fire of Aries. Venus goes retrograde this year (in May) so it will stay in Gemini for 5 months, giving extra emphases to the need to contemplate how we communicate, and on the value of what has been said. As Gemini is the quintessential sign of relatedness between opposites, we are asked to review our relationships in order to see how we can bring in a more conscious response to the extremely polarized time we are experiencing. On a personal level, it’s about attending to the quality within each relationship.
Mercury goes retrograde on April 6, retrograding through impulsive Aries until it goes direct on April 30th. So much emphasis on reviewing what has been said and what actions have been taken brings to mind the challenges to President Bush. Bush is under the scrutiny of Saturn, confronting his past actions (until June), and he is under continual pressure this month to reveal his real motivations. There will be verbal battles. On higher levels the energy of Gemini is to bring through love and wisdom to heal and make whole what has been separated through polarization. Aries brings forth the energy of will to accomplish that.
On April 19th, the new moon is a solar eclipse at 29 Aries. During solar eclipses our behavior can be more influenced by the subconscious and the past. The Sun enters Taurus shortly after the eclipse.
On April 24th Mars in Gemini opposes Pluto. This can be a very volatile time, for what has been held in check may now surface suddenly and powerfully in a destructive manner. This is particularly so for the U.S. because it is triggering what is already in progress for the U.S., the transformation of how we use our force to dominate.

Aries (Mar 20-Apr 19) At the Full Moon take a break from your schedule to ponder the bigger picture of life. There is a lot of activity, interaction and important communication this month. You have the potential to bring more harmony into your relationships even where you feel challenged. You will learn about yourself in areas that you have had less awareness.
Taurus (Apr 20-May 20) You will be more active this month, willing to communicate what’s deeply important to you. You may find yourself being more assertive than you realize. Unexpected events propel you into different realities. Change helps to loosen up habituated patterns so something new and exciting can enter your life. Retreat into silence at the eclipse.
Gemini (May 21-Jun 20) As a Gemini you are now entering an interesting 5 month period with Venus. This will be a calming affect. Though you may have felt scattered last month you now seem to have reached a break through point. It is time to review your goals.
Cancer (Jun 21–Jul 21) You find yourself very aware of the hectic energy around and within you. At this time forces conspire to bring more enjoyment and harmony into your life. Something is ending at work. Something hidden becomes revealed. You are the light bearer.
Leo (Jul 22- Aug 22) Friends and community become more important. Both soulful and philosophical, simple and playful communications highlight your days. Taking a trip gives you the opportunity to have new understandings of situations so transformations may occur. Deep reflection leads to positive results.
Virgo (Aug 23-Sep 22) This is a time of change for Virgos. The changes that are taking place in your life now bring more energy to you. Be careful not to be impulsive at this time of change. Attune to your deeper values for your course ahead.
Libra (Sep 23-Oct 22) There is much negotiating and communicating. There is debate on issues with the potential for harmonious outcome. Take your time with review of details and deeper desires. Expect the unexpected, it can liberate you.
Scorpio (Oct 23-Nov 21) You shine this month through the service you do. At the eclipse take the time to reverse your perspective on people and situations. As you allow the new perspective you will find yourself resting on a deeper sense of trust in your life.
Sagittarius (Nov 22-Dec 20) This is a particularly social and interactive month for you. Relationships are very highlighted both in enjoyment and working with unexpected situations. At the eclipse you review the best way to say what’s deeply important to you. Children are highlighted.
Capricorn (Dec 21- Jan 19) Last month held tension in the home that now shifts. This is the time to review your mental patterns that shape your reality. Shift your thoughts, your reality changes. You are in a potent time for selecting the seeds for future outcome.
Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 17) This month you understand things in a more profound and clear manner. You see where you need to go. There is a difference of opinion on what should be done but your willingness to compromise allows unexpected freedom to see what’s really at the heart of the matter.
Pisces (Feb 18-Mar 19) This is a time for connecting deeply with others. You will receive a stream of love and will return it with creativity and a willingness to share a vision together. A peacefulness and deep acceptance bless you this month.
