The Sun in the sign of the twins is a time of busyness and rapid connections. At a deeper level Gemini brings out polarities and challenges us to find ways to harmonize differences. For some of us the Gemini energy is expressed through feeling one thing and thinking another and is the dilemma of finding right action.
This month we experience a powerful energy field of the fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. Personally, emotional encounters with others can be difficult, with conflicting individual needs or obstacles. Jupiter in Scorpio takes us deeply into the emotional and subconscious realms of personal relationship and enlarges our experience of those realms while Saturn in Leo challenges our egos, so we learn to detach from a judgmental dominating sense of self or a lack of self worth. Our opportunity is to come to a balance between emotional needs and our sense of self with others, by cultivating an ability to witness.
This aspect also manifests as a collective indicator for what has developed since 2000. At this point we are hitting a bottom line. Changes and adjustments must be made to have success for our society in 2012. We are now in the process of this adjustment.
President Bush is very focal in this process. Not only because he was elected in 2000, but also because this lineup is happening on his Mercury Pluto conjunction in Leo. This means that he will have difficulty in his communications and that the consequences of his plans will meet with opposition and challenge. Mid June will be particularly challenging for him as he struggles and puts up a fight to prove a point.
Mars enters fiery, expressive Leo on June 3rd, energizing the fire signs, Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. A very strong energy will be present to take a stand for oneself and this could be destructive or beneficial as fire can be.
The full Moon takes place on June 11th, aligning with transformative Pluto. The Summer Solstice takes place on June 21st with the Moon in Taurus, providing a steadying and mellowing influence to June’s intensity. We are being tempered, as is said in the Tarot, to find truth and to release our hold on old patterns of being. The world situation will express this tension as a consequence of everything that is out of alignment. Bodywork is helpful now to release old resentments, fears, pain. We are part of a great purification as we move into a new age and a new way of being.
The new moon takes place on June 25th in Cancer, aligning with expansive Jupiter.
Twelve Opportunities:
Aries (Mar 20-Apr 19): As Mars moves into Leo on the 4th you are energized with desire to move forward and achieve. Practice patience. Attune to your health and emotional well-being. This is a powerful month for deep change, but you must attune to your inner world.
Taurus (Apr 20-May 20) This month you will experience both pleasure and enjoyment and challenge. Let yourself observe relationships and know that situations will arise that challenge you. You may have very deep feelings surface. A deeper level of integration, understanding and centering will happen at the new moon. You will then experience the beauty you offer people.
Gemini (May 21-Jun 20) With Mercury entering Cancer on the 3rd, you feel more emotional and sensitive. As you let go of feelings of disappointment and judgment, things clear and you become excited by new options. This moves you into an extremely creative, stimulating and inspirational month. You receive new ideas, have unexpected encounters that bear fruit.
Cancer (Jun 21–Jul 21) You sense some big changes coming. It’s as if you have pushed open another room for yourself and your expression or creativity. Your mental powers are sharpened and you are inspired. As you drop ways you judge and limit yourself you feel yourself moving into something you always wanted to do.
Leo (Jul 22- Aug 22) Believe it or not love is coming your way. Will you recognize it when it comes your way? You will also be a channel for love. Take things as simply as you can as if you were a little child. Each situation is bearing some gift of discovery. As Mars enters Leo, take your time, be patient.
Virgo (Aug 23-Sep 22) Unexpected situations develop in relationships. There is a great depth of feeling and also the potential for inspiration. You are balancing thoughts with feelings and with the potential to ride some big waves. It can be quite exhilarating and freeing. If you allow yourself to hang out with just “what is” there is much healing coming your way.
Libra (Sep 23-Oct 22) With Venus moving through Taurus, you feel yourself getting more practical and organized. You are especially tuned in to those you love and your gifts of sensitivity and perception are keen. Concerns come up around your financial situation, but it’s really a matter of patience right now. As Venus enters Gemini on the 23rd situations lighten up.
Scorpio (Oct 23-Nov 21) You are enjoying relationship. This month is a balancing act for you. There is love, generosity and enjoyment around you. But with Jupiter in Scorpio squaring Saturn and Mars, overdoing won’t be tolerated. Boundaries and knowing when to stop are the test this month. You feel the stress of too much going on
Sagittarius (Nov 22-Dec 20) This month the emphasis is on learning something new. You feel it’s effect both mentally and emotionally. Take your time with travel plans and adjustments. It might just take a little longer than usual. You are tuning into your creative energies and are empowered to create your life more freely now.
Capricorn (Dec 21- Jan 19) You find yourself becoming much more focused this month. There’s something you want to accomplish and you do it. There are other things you may be holding on to, that now must be let go of. Events occur that pull you into the mysteries of life.
Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 17) You are in a fertile creative time and this sharpens. Communications in the moment become clearer. As Mars comes into Leo be aware of strong energy coming at you. This may take on a very authoritative tone. A clear sense of truth and a larger perspective on the situation is what can keep everything in balance.
Pisces (Feb 18-Mar 19) This is a time when you will come to an understanding of something that you have been working on. You suddenly feel freed up and your life takes on a lighter quality. There is an awakening taking place for you, a powerful spiritual and creative time. You are transforming your way of life.
