We, now, move into the radiance of Leo, beginning the month with Mars retrograde in Pisces. As if in a glass bottom boat we peer into the usually unseen waters or go behind the scenes to look at how things are done. Unexpected events will continue to surprise us and challenge us to review who we are and directions taken. Our challenge is to bring to objective realization the purpose of our actions. To do this we need perspective, clarity and deliberately focused action. Retrogration is an opportunity for transformation and reorientation.
In the 1st and 2nd weeks of august, words will be used like swords, and the sharing of words, will uncover deeper truths and deceptions. With Saturn trining Mars focus and perseverance can be strong. There is consistent progress toward building a new level of awareness. At the time of the full moon on August 11, the battle between truth and illusion will reign. For those involved in the Neptunian pursuits of questing for the spirit and being creators, this time can enhance imagination and intuition, giving us a new perspective on situations.
With the Sun conjuncting Jupiter in Leo on the 22nd, dramatic events can take place; stories will be told with great expressiveness. The Sun moves into Virgo on the 24th and opposes Uranus, shining light upon the trickster, the rebel and the visionary.
With the new moon in Virgo on the 27th, polarities forming around issues and situations worldwide intensify. It is a time for us to hold our focus even while we are not sure of outcome.
The end of August brings attacks and confrontations. The universe is sending a street cleaner to swept up all that has been left in the gutters, in the collective emotional body, to air itself, thereby freeing us to proceed into the future with united focus. In relationships old issues surface for healing.
Mercury goes retrograde on the 28th at 26 Virgo. We are gathering info and insights gained over the last 4 months to reevaluate our situation. Conservative opinions will be strongly expressed to equally strong progressive perspectives.
Jupiter now moves into Virgo. On a personal level, one might review the past year and think what as emerged? How can it be refined? Collectively, Jupiter in Virgo focuses on healthy living. There will be attention given to the armed services and the search for truth, through the question “Whom do we serve?”.
Bush has brought out the dualities inherit in the USA roots, a democracy of the people vs. government by the elite, with carefully disguised agendas. As it is a time of envisioning new foundations for ourselves, the roots of the old must be exposed for what they are. This retrograding Mars is shining its light on Bush’s actions and motivations through challenge and confrontation.
The Twelve Opportunities:
Aries (Mar 20-Apr 19): It’s time for you to enjoy yourself fully. You feel generous, loving and creative. In fact utilize time for reverie. Don’t take on too much. The time will be well spent in review. In late August be patient to implement new routines.
Taurus (Apr 20-May 20): It would be nice to space out at home, swim through creative, imaginative waters. This is the prelude to a creative project focalizing itself through you. Tap into the undercurrents of the collective and give it voice. Change your life.
Gemini (May 21-Jun 20): August holds enjoyment with friends.. A truth gets revealed after much discussion with a friend or partner. You ponder the situation and are best supported to shift your perspective. You feel more compassion and feeling with family.
Cancer (Jun 21–Jul 21): Redefine who you are to yourself. Get as clear as you possibly can. Then be willing to carefully and deliberately reauthor (or take up the authority for) your quest and journey. Write and share with others what you have uncovered.
Leo (Jul 22- Aug 22): This is a joyous birthday time. You are changing, expanding, learning, creating. Go with the flow in relationship. Let compassion be the lion you ride on. With late August you return to the practical side of life. Attend to your finances.
Virgo (Aug 23-Sep 22): Completions and new beginnings are the key words for you. Something that has been hidden and in the dark now begins it’s flowering. Express your heart. Be led by courage. Be fluid to circumstances like a kite in the wind.
Libra (Sep 23-Oct 22): Friends support and appreciate you. Mid-August calls for you to find a place to contemplate the changing events that arise. Whatever arises serves to open up new courses of action for you. Be clear on your motivations because if they are out of alignment with what you envision you will know right away.
Scorpio (Oct 23-Nov 21): You’re being called to show yourself and express your love and joy. A creative surge moves you. Watch carefully communication with friends. Best advice would be don’t take situations at face value. Utilize patience for a true perspective. Set new intentions for yourself.
Sagittarius (Nov 22-Dec 20): A trip away from the usual way of life allows you to swim in the realm of expanded states of consciousness and inspiration. It is the place you love. Something comes up unexpectedly from your boss. Look to the undercurrents of the situation. A new level of service, refinement and practicality is arriving for you.
Capricorn (Dec 21- Jan 19): This month you share more intimacy and closeness in your relationships. An understanding has dawned upon you. You become very interested in studying, creating and experimenting. You are entering a more adventurous time. Don’t let ponderous or critical moods block your enjoyment.
Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 17): This is a time to enjoy your life, to enjoy your relationship(s). Reviewing your financial situation is a productive focus now. Initiate a new kind of intimacy in your life. By-past old problems and share the love of the earth and the jewels of the skies at night. Be creative in your relationships.
Pisces (Feb 18-Mar 19): There is a very large creative force around you, and a pull to give it precise form. Know that that will take place. Now sit for awhile and look at the garden of your life. Slowly take in the colors and textures of the plants you have planted and tended. What would you like to harvest and what needs to be recycled? New relationships are forming.
