As Uranus and Mars conjunct, the two planets that embody the force of lightening, power and electricity, it is not surprising that we experience a breakdown in the power grid. The evolution of humanity in the Aquarian age calls for us to move to the next level of collective functioning. In order to do so the habitual grids must be broken down so we can experience new modes of perception and organization. Expect more sudden disruptions that upset the status quo. In the astrology of the USA the responsibility to transform the use of power is part of our destiny.
With the closeness of Mars, we are showered with energies deeply connected with the subconscious, the instinctual drive for preservation and winning. Yet the Martian force also has the intensity of drive to birth us into new worlds of perception and experience. The beginning of September intensifies the warrior energy. The full Moon on September 10th aligns with Pluto, bringing tension and power struggles. As Mercury stays retrograde until the 20th, diplomacy and being willing to address very old issues is the key to resolution and forward movement.
The fall equinox takes place on September 23rd. It is a time for careful balancing of the stresses of family and responsibility. The New moon in Libra takes place on September 25th, giving us the opportunity to balance instinct and reaction with diplomacy and refinement. Finish delayed projects and after Mars goes direct on the 27th begin new projects.

Aries (Mar 20-Apr 19): Be thoughtful with communications at work. Different points of view surface and bump up against each other. Take time to retreat and reflect. You can change an old way of doing things. Partnership will be redefined.
Taurus (Apr 20-May 20): Over the summer there are things you have learned and dreamed. This is the month to express and write, paint or create your insights. Don’t let the time past you by. Reflect deeply on the meaning of your life.
Gemini (May 21-Jun 20): You feel suspended in a tension between home, family, work and the public world. Practice fluidity, openness to what is. A series of events bring rapid change. Later in the month you seed new relationships at work.
Cancer (Jun 21–Jul 21): Saturn in Cancer challenges you to bring new focus and simplicity into your life. It is the easiest way to flow with the energy. You see how your mind habituates your experience. New understanding dawns on you.
Leo (Jul 22- Aug 22): September highlights finances for you. What is it you truly value? Shifts in shared finances allows you to see things in a new way. Children test your boundaries and patience.
Virgo (Aug 23-Sep 22): This is an important year of transformations and letting go for you. Carefully assess what patterns no longer serve you. Jupiter has now moved into Virgo giving you opportunities as you move into new areas. Take time to follow inner guidance.
Libra (Sep 23-Oct 22): The first part of the month holds change and the unexpected at work, you are being asked to take quality time for yourself to review and reflect on the seeds you are planting for the future. Be thoughtful with interactions with siblings as old issues may surface.
Scorpio (Oct 23-Nov 21): Friendships and family are highlighted this month. Incredible enjoyment and enrichment along with tension of old issues. Patience at the time of the full moon will serve as a healing salve in situations.
Sagittarius (Nov 22-Dec 20): A new avenue for teaching, sharing, learning opens up for you. You receive appreciation at work. Situations at home and in the family are not predictable. Don’t apply force.
Capricorn (Dec 21- Jan 19): Travel this month. Learn something new or teach what you love. The full moon challenges you to very conscious communications. A new level of relatedness is entering your life.
Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 17): Aquarians feel the need to move, travel, the desire to break up stagnant energy. Now’s the time to do it. As Jupiter moves into Virgo you feel the opportunity to open into sharing and intimacy with others.
