As we move into September the Virgo harvest season is upon us. It is time to reflect upon and discern what comes to fruition. On the higher level Virgo develops the awareness of the inward life and light of the soul, protecting that life and being a guide to others by devotion to the truth of who we are. Jupiter and Mars are also moving through the sign, with Mercury reentering Virgo on September 10th and the new Moon in Virgo on the 14th. With 5 planets in Virgo, we experience with intensity the processes of analysis and critical review. Mercury finishes its retrograde period on the 2nd focusing communications. We can move between extreme judgmentalism and blame to clearly discerning the energy at work.
The first three weeks of September, have very intense energies of Mars, the Sun, Jupiter and Pluto. Power struggles and violence can increase as we are involved with the transformation of the use of force and on personal levels transformation of our relationship patterns. The desire to win, to achieve our goals will be very strong. Old ways of dealing with conflict or unconscious patterns of relationship won’t prevail, new understanding of interrelationship must be taken into consideration particularly based on the experience of the last 5 months. The great energies of this time can be used for constructive efforts, transforming the world or fall prey to power struggles and disagreements.
As the Sun moves into Libra fall equinox on September 22, with Jupiter moving into Libra on the 24th, Mars into Libra on the 26th, there is a significant shift in energies. Diplomacy becomes a priority. The desire for peace becomes center stage. Jupiter begins its yearlong sojourn in Libra. While the last 12 months highlighted analysis and service (including military service) we now enter a time of focus on relatedness. The full Moon takes place in Aries on the 28th.
John Kerry and Edwards were born six months apart (in different years) so both have Pluto transiting their Suns. They become agents for elimination of the old and birth of a new higher order. Tremendous energy will be available to them to accomplish their goals if they are able to align with the real needs of the human condition.

Taurus (Apr 20-May 20): You feel attuned to your heart’s desire to create beauty, art and creative projects. You let go of an obsession that has robbed your time. You birth that dream that you have had. Don’t be taken off course by an idealized relationship. Benefits come at the end of the month.
Gemini (May 21-Jun 20): It is time to pull in your energy, to focus and work productively at home. Don’t be distracted by relationship challenge. Stay true to yourself. You are in the process of rebuilding something. An unexpected communication sets up a review and allows you to understand from a place of greater perspective.
Cancer (Jun 21–Jul 21): You are the student even as you are the teacher. Your thinking is fine-tuned, skillfully synthesizing the many layers of your subject matter. You experience a transformation and bring yourself out anew in the world. You see what’s good in what you have created and move deeply into the power of it, leaving behind what hasn’t worked as compost.
Leo (Jul 22- Aug 22): You are focusing on your skills to organize, getting down to practical matters, reviewing your financial situation. You have a lot of energy to get the job done. A new idea, a new plan emerges.
Virgo (Aug 23-Sep 22): This birthday year provides you with lots of energy and ability to accomplish your goals. Something from the past still needs to be resolved. By late September situations become crystal clear. You begin to manifest your heartfelt plans.
Libra (Sep 23-Oct 22): Though September highlights group activities and social events there is a need to pull back, digest and analyze past actions. A cycle is coming to a close. Be prepared for sudden communication and negotiations. Attune to your intuition for direction. End of month you feel freed up to go forward.
Scorpio (Oct 23-Nov 21): You find yourself taking an active part in the direction of a group. You are seen as someone with a vision. You may experience a challenge between group needs and what you value. It gives you an opportunity for clarification. The end of the month you quietly gather yourself. An inspiration leads to new beginnings.
Sagittarius (Nov 22-Dec 20): Though the last several years have brought unexpected events, bringing old patterns to the surface, you now give yourself to your true vocation. You are analyzing and planning practical action to follow a new purpose. You have the momentum, the vision, the ability to build something of a new order.
Capricorn (Dec 21- Jan 19): September is a productive month for you. You are eager to learn, to travel, to expand your horizons in very practical ways. Though relationships seem to go well there may be an old issue or person who aggravates you. Know your truth and let it be. You reach a place of balance and confidence.
Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 17): Issues of money come up in your relationship. Take the time to fully discuss matters. It is a good time to plan strategy even though your goals are changing. Late September is excellent for travel.
Pisces (Feb 18-Mar 19): Your life has been renewed and now the focus is on relationship. You may find yourself being very critical This time brings healing as you shift from criticism into clear discernment of the situation. A teacher or counselor brings light to the situation so a new level of intimacy is achieved.
