As the Sun moves through the intense, often conflicting, yet transformative sign of Scorpio, we elect our president. The president is inaugurated the day that the Sun moves into Aquarius, a cooler, more objective sign, the sign of the people. Mars bring intensity as it moves into Scorpio on the 10th, followed by the New Moon on the 12th. The United States continues to experience an identity crisis. A new vision of who we are in relation to each other, to the earth and the cosmos is being demanded of us. The challenge is not to retreat in fear and polarizing judgment. We are in the process, whether we are aware of it or not, of building a new house, a new foundation for the USA and our planet Earth.

Unfolding over the next 8 months are challenges around communication, between ourselves and other countries, issues around our values both as a country and as individuals, around what the truth really is versus spin for political gain or personal advantage. It’s time to confront the realities around us in terms of resources and the foundation of our economy. (Saturn opposes USA Pluto in the house of money).
Saturn is stationary in November, and will begin its retrograde cycle. People feel more sensitive to criticism. It is a time to be aware of negativity, and being overly judgmental. Instead we can respond with clear discernments about practical situations and review how we have organized our realities. On a higher level Saturn organizes our inspiration to build new patterns of living and creating in our lives. We can align with this energy by choosing to create new realities, shifting to deeper understanding and appreciation of our unique role in this mysterious and awesome universe.
Forces will continue to expose hidden motives and buried truths and to transform our military policies with Pluto opposing the USA Mars. From November into January there will be much intense discussion and review. Hopefully it won’t all be about election results. Mercury goes retrograde on November 30th, conjuncting Pluto.
The Sun moves into Sagittarius on November 21st. The Full Moon of November 26th, accentuates the Sagittarius/ Gemini axis, as it squares Uranus in Pisces. The time is unstable and demands more flexibility in how we perceive events.
The Twelve Opportunities:
Aries (Mar 20-Apr 19): This month you will experience intimate encounters with others. This can lead to very harmonious and loving relationships. Certainly, the stage is set for this. It is a time of power for you, so take the time to reflect on the use of this power.
Taurus (Apr 20-May 20): Now there are blessings and sweetness available to you in your daily life. Enjoy the unhurried time with light heart and humor. Expect a meaningful encounter with a significant person toward the end of the month. You are creating something with another person.
Gemini (May 21-Jun 20): You are searching and journeying at this time. You are more focused and directed. You have strong convictions and impetus to move forward with your ideas and leadership. Consider your thoughts and words carefully at this time for the affect they can have on others.
Cancer (Jun 21–Jul 21): On the New Moon meet with another and do a ritual around what you intend to create. Open your heart to your creation with no resistance. By late November you will be surprised by what you learn as you teach.
Leo (Jul 22- Aug 22): November is an intense time for home, hosting and family for you. As you bring forward your humor and generosity you can shift the energy of interactions. People look to you for insight and advice.
Virgo (Aug 23-Sep 22):In November you feel like writing, communicating, sharing your stories, but as midmonth unfolds you withdraw abit. You go inside. Your thoughts can intensify around a certain issue. Let go of old situations. A plan you had will not serve you now. Clear out old negativity.
Libra (Sep 23-Oct 22): Something new is unfolding for Librans. People are seeking you out and are attracted to you. You’ve had a dream. Go with it. Plan it out. Create it. You have an opportunity to receive from others.
Scorpio (Oct 23-Nov 21): Happy birthday, Scorpio. You feel motivated from your inner depths. Some of you will experience this as a highly transformative time, change is occurring. Others will feel desirous and needy. But you are a deep and soulful sign and this month you will feel the love around you.
Sagittarius (Nov 22-Dec 20): There are new people in your life. You are involved in new groups where you are seen as an inspired leader. Privately, there is something that you need to let go of that is getting in your way, a certain view or attitude. You are rearranging your life.
Capricorn (Dec 21- Jan 19): This is an important social time for you, connecting with friends and family. You have extra energy this month. You are fired up and ready to go somewhere to achieve a goal, find a treasure. People experience you as a motivator.
Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 17): This month you feel swept away by strong feelings. You are motivated with a strong sense of purpose. You experience a revelation and have a new understanding. There is a sense of joy and accomplishment.
Pisces (Feb 18-Mar 19): This is a month of insights and clarity. Relationships ease and have a sweetness. Enjoy yourself! You are arriving at a culmination after a long journey. You are coming into success. Celebrate!
