Thanksgiving marks the shift when the Sun leaves the depths of watery intense Scorpio and enters the up reaching energy of fiery Sagittarius. We see the fire of the auburn leaves of autumn and the swelling of crimson berries on the hillside.
Over the past nine months as Jupiter squared Saturn, we have witnessed the need for an adjustment to our country’s direction or a bottoming out of the administration’s agenda will take place. As this square is now completed this is exactly what has happened. As Saturn has passed over Bush’s Leo planets during the last year we have seen the energy of Saturn hold Bush to a confrontation with what he has created and his popularity has fallen. We can have confidence that we are moving toward a time of awakening to a new paradigm of being that is not polarized with good and evil and separation. Rather we will experience ourselves as one humanity, awakening to our creative powers as planet Earth shifts into a new age.
There is now a gathering of planets in truth seeking Sagittarius, particularly significant now because Jupiter has entered Sagittarius, something it does once every twelve years. Jupiter enlarges Sagittarius energy, bringing philosophical discussions of morals, ethics, long-range goals, hope and optimism. After the deep challenges of Scorpio, there is a rebirth.
The full moon in Gemini takes place on December 4th, squaring Uranus. This full moon creates communication and debate that breaks with the status quo, seeking transformation of governmental structures. Direct challenges to President Bush’s actions, war and agendas take place.
Mars moves into Sagittarius on December 5th, aligning with Jupiter. More energy is available to us to take action. The warrior spirit is enhanced, as we can attune to our inner strength and convictions. On December 7th, Mercury enters Sagittarius, now with 6 planets in Sagittarius, we feel hope and possibility. There is an urgency to achieve a new vision of purpose. We see this taking place over the next year for the USA.
Venus conjuncts Pluto, relationships can be transformed as depths of feelings are touched. Venus moves into Capricorn on the 11th, making practical our hopes.
The new moon takes place on December 20th aligning with Pluto and Saturn. As Mars squares Uranus, situations are unstable and filled with energy to break apart whatever has been established but has outlived usefulness. Deep desires, needs and unconscious driving forces can be seen, recognized and harnessed energetically. The Winter Solstice takes place on December 21st, carrying the New Moon theme out for the next three months.
The Twelve Opportunities:
Aries (Mar 20-Apr 19): After a challenging emotional month, situations brighten. You feel more optimistic and have more energy. At the new moon, there is unexpected news and strong energy to breakthrough. Keep your center. Take time to tune into your deep feelings and inner peace. You are expanding your consciousness.
Taurus (Apr 20-May 20): You are passing through a confrontation with deep life issues, intimacy, releasing control and fears and security through others. Let the old ways of being die. Allow your urge for change guide you instead of holding to the old. As Venus moves into Capricorn, things stablize. You are on a sacred journey.
Gemini (May 21-Jun 20): You have been passing through a review of health and work issues. Take time to be quiet and listen to wisdom within. This is extremely important before the next stage of healing and forward movement begins on December 7th. Partnership and others play an important role in supporting change.
Cancer (Jun 21–Jul 21): You are now moving into a refinement time. As you attune through your sensitivity to the needs of others, you become more practical in your work and health objectives. This is a time when your actions can be very effective. Build up your trust.
Leo (Jul 22- Aug 22): Creative expression and love is highlighted this month. Let yourself live out the love you feel. After the challenges of these last couple years you feel a breakthrough and new vision for yourself. There is much healing coming your way.
Virgo (Aug 23-Sep 22): Last month has been a challenge in communication and review of past situations. Deep feelings have intensified thought processes. Watch the 1st week of December for the culmination of intensity. Now is the time to know with clarity what you want. With Mercury into Sagittarius you feel more optimism and movement. Focus within yourself and gather with others for support. Take it moment by moment for success
Libra (Sep 23-Oct 22): This month is a continuation of consciousness growth for you. Examine your belief systems. Honor your own inner wisdom. Realize that what defined you as who you are is changing and must be let go. Something greater is awaiting you.
Scorpio (Oct 23-Nov 21): As you leave the emotional intensity of November, you move into reflecting on what it is you have, what your values are, the talents and resources you possess. During the first week of December there is the need to let go of something. As you reconnect to feeling the richness of your life, a goal emerges. You experience your life from a much broader perspective. Gratitude can become the foundation for your life’s wellspring and riches. Let yourself believe.
Sagittarius (Nov 22-Dec 20): As Jupiter moves into Sagittarius you begin a new 12-year cycle. The question to ask is how do I receive life? What do I want to create and enlarge upon in my life? Doors open for you. Your energy increases. You communicate your truth. Be aware who can receive it and who can’t.
Capricorn (Dec 21- Jan 19): This is a transition time for you. Who you are and who you will be is in a dynamic process of change. Retreat and take time to feel into what is most passionate, creative and alive for you. This is the time for planting seeds that will develop over the next year.
Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 17): You have been in a process of feeling yourself in a new way and from that a new ground of being is arising. Now that there is more integration between feeling and thinking, you envision new possibilities for yourself. Teach a class, share your insights, and enjoy your friends.
Pisces (Feb 18-Mar 19): This month expand your horizons. Bring out what you know and what you do, for success and positive reception is now open to you. Things are coming together for you. For the next year your career is highlighted as is your drive to achieve
